About
Ill Just Listen started with a boring, common observation: the hardest hours are the quiet ones, and they are exactly when nobody is available.
Therapists are booked. Friends are asleep. Crisis lines are for crises — and they will tell you so, kindly, when you are not having one. So the ordinary bad night falls through every gap: too much for a notes app, not enough for emergency services.
This is a small tool for that gap. An AI listener that remembers you, does not rush you, does not diagnose you, and knows exactly when to hand you to a human.
What we believe
- Being heard is not a luxury, and it should not cost $180 an hour.
- Software should never pretend to be a clinician — the honesty is the product.
- Memory is what makes a conversation feel like care instead of a transaction.
- The safety layer is the most important code on this site.
What we will not do
- Call it therapy, counselling, or treatment.
- Sell your conversations, or train on them for advertising.
- Keep you talking by making you dependent.
- Hide the crisis numbers, ever.
If that sounds like something you needed at 3am once, it is probably for you.
